I have uninstalled and then re-installed PHP but allowing automatic login but I cannot find the login button within virtualmin. Is there a permission i need to enable?

I thought when i installed phpMyadmin there would be a menu item that i clicked on any of my accounts (if they had edit DB permissions) and I would not required a password etc..

NB: I don’t seem to have an options to install PHP myadmin as a global default.

thanks

Click on the install path, what happens?

it just goes to the phpmyadmin installation, no auto login.

The real issue is there is not way to install phpmyadmin as a global. I cannot find this option.

I don’t know about global but did you run the patch from the previous post when this was this was discussed?
You should discuss one issue per post, global is a separate issue and maybe a blue sky request.

I have not, I did have a look but I was not sure what I was looking at or looking for.

  • Is this feature currently broken?
  • Can you give me the link please

I don’t have this global option or I cannot see it.

Eye check

This OP is not about global option, its about auto login.

some things

  • these patches are for the auto-login not working, not that it is missing.
  • I do not have the global installation checkbox
  • i did update my post about with strikethrough in reguards to the patches you mentioned

Clicking the install path will auto login.
Why do you expect a global installation checkbox?

Why do you expect a global installation checkbox?

The whole point of automatic login was that it was tied into have a single global installation of phpMyAdmin which would be accompanied by a menu item or button in Virtualmin that you click and it goes straight to a logged in phpMyAdmin

Perhaps my thread title was wrong. What I will do is close this thread and restart as itis confusing me now, lol
