Webmin 2.202 Live Time Stats don't work

Hi,

I have an issue with not loading of Server Stats on Home Page in Webmin.
I have updated the Webmin to the last version and also applied this fix:
webmin patch Fix setting webprefix for WebSocket URL · webmin/webmin@253d85b · GitHub

I restarted Webmin - without success for the stats.

Can you help me? Please see the attached image.

I reviewed and tried all things from the other topic - which is related:
https://forum.virtualmin.com/t/after-update-webmin-2-200-cant-view-stat-history/128119/15

Thanks!

You must not apply that patch if you already have Webmin 2.202 installed.

What is being logged to /var/webmin/modules/authentic-theme after you restart Webmin and refresh the browser page, specifically at the moment the connection attempted to be established?

the formats are strange?

These aren’t logs.

The logs are found in stats-server-*.log files and also in /var/webmin/miniserv.log, which you can tail to monitor.

Are you running Webmin behind proxy?

I don’t think so.

The URL is https://[domain name]:10000/sysinfo.cgi?xnavigation=1

Then do you see any errors in the browser’s console? Did you try another browser, in particular without any extensions enabled?

There are no errors in the Browser’s console. I have tried with Firefox and Opera - the same. I don’t use any extensions.

I’m not sure I understand what you’re asking or what isn’t working. It works just fne for me on dozens of different instances.

Did you try another browser?

Yes, of course I tried all browsers.

Are you a developer? You only asking me questions?

What about these errors?
readdir() attempted on invalid dirhandle DIR at ./webmin-lib.pl line 1908.
closedir() attempted on invalid dirhandle DIR at ./webmin-lib.pl line 1914.

Are you able to make fix for them?

For me and my instance it doesn’t work. And who knows for how many others instances it just doesn’t work…

I wish I knew what is the cause of it. Can you share your /etc/webmin/config and /etc/webmin/miniserv.conf files?

If the error was affecting (m)any of the rest of the users don’t you think that we would ALL be seeing that error? So I would guess no one else is!

no need to be rude,

asking questions is often the only way to resolve a problem. especially one that defies replication.

Ok, guys.

So, it means that everything is fine

I’m the user that sends feedback to you guys.
But your response is that everything works as expected. (on your machine)…

No need to add anything here.

it means maybe investigating more at your end, adding lots more information, trying different things as it is probably a thing at your end if no-one else is having the issue.

It does not always mean it is not a bug.

I wish I knew what is the cause of it. Can you share your /etc/webmin/config and /etc/webmin/miniserv.conf files?`

did you send Ilia the reports he wanted? If you did he will have a look at them when he gets chance, it is weekend

You did not fill in the full requested specs on the first post, just edit the first post and put them in there. these can be easily copied from the dashboard at the top right.

I would also add the browser name and version you are using.

This is a good example of a bug report feature request, one of my shorter ones
