Server Template for imports - select features to enable?

Is there a way to disable or de-select which features to enable from within the server template - so we can disable things before a server is imported?

For example, in Create Virtual Server - I can see it’s easy to deselect things such as
DNS for domain
Apache website
MariaDB database
Mail for domain
Spam filtering

But we don’t get this when importing a site. I’d love to control what gets activated prior to adding a site. Especially when importing a cPanel site that has a lot of parked domains (alias-servers) - e.g. how to easily disable all the mail, for the parked domains prior to import.

We only have feature selection during domain restore that was done using Virtualmin initially. We don’t support it for migrations, at least not yet.

And, probably, it’s better not to include features in the cPanel backup in the first place that you don’t want to have migrated to Virtualmin?

Thank you for your answer - it’s not really possible to easily “deselect” features in the cPanel backups - often these are cpanel server backup tar.gz files. I think it would be useful to be able to at least save a template that would be used for migrations, but leave it to you for future. Now at least it’s clear for the moment.

Would still love to see a migration template… :wink: especially when it could allow options for what to do with alias domains and redirects.
