RocketChat and virtualmin

hello! I have virtualmin installed, working wonderfully with web and email. Now install rocket chat via Snap by doing the following.

  • Install rocketchat via Snap
  • works correctly on ip:3000
    -works correctly on mydomain.com:3000
    What I wanted to do is leave it through port 443. I found in the forum how to make a proxypass but I applied it, it works at https://midominio.com/rocketchat
    but roundcube, phpmyadmin does not work. Any idea how to do it?

Sounds like a port collision - doesn’t RoundCube also use 3000

okay. I have done it! You must create a subserver, for example: chat.mydomain.com and enable the web proxy by applying the address http://ip:3000

forgive my ignorance, just learned of snap from this thread, how does one install and use snap on virtualmin?

Virtualmin is not your operating system and has no involvement in whether or not you use snap. snap is a package manager made by Ubuntu (a dangerous one, IMHO, and best avoided). https://snapcraft.io/
