I use FTP all the time for doing client stuff, editing their website files and so on.
However it is cooked, I need FTP.

I would actually support removing this feature entirely. As Joe says, it’s of near-zero value these days - I doubt that anyone even knows what anonymous FTP is anymore!
I have found that I/clients hardly use FTP these days, as I have File Manager now available and find it gives better control 
Well this morning (i do not know what happened overnight) this has become more critical.
I log in to the VM and just press [alt]+[i] and immediately get this:
yes well i know that!
i still do not need or want it.
i still cannot find what is asking for it or it seems prevent it.
now it seems even more critical
i get the same error on just selecting Webmin
Do not back up all features, backup only selected and skip the ProFTPD virtual FTP feature.

as this is just after i login before doing anything with any VS
it is happening on change to webmin tab (not even with [alt]+[i] (the theme is setup to select Dashboard - the default)
and on going to Virtualmin tab and pressing [alt]+[i] (the theme is setup to select a specific VS)
it IS the same VM as this topic, but seems to now be far more serious!
I’m sorry, I don’t understand the question or how it relates to the original post about an error during backup.
If it’s a new question related to the theme, then yes, start a new ticket.
