was just testing the virtualmin setup with rocky linux image AWS Marketplace: Rocky Linux 9 (Official) - x86_64 on AWS EC2 service.
the installation is failed with below error

Almalinux 9 / Rocky 9 Tested on both with separate servers.
Virtualmin version
latest
Installing on a barebone dedicated server. No proxy. used the same command 10days back and was working.
[root@almalinux987 ~]# sudo sh -c "$(curl -fsSL https://software.virtualmin.com/gpl/scripts/virtualmin-install.sh)" -- --bundle LEMP -m
[INFO] Installation log is written to /root/virtualmin-install.log

I think there maybe a bug with min install, solution in link.

This is a duplicate of the link stefan1959 provided.
Short answer: Either install without the --minimal flag, or preinstall the proftpd package before running the install script (you can remove it after, if you want).

I just tried the command virtualmin-config-system -b MiniLAMP -x ProFTPd seems to finish of the install ok. That correct?
