Importing from Plesk "Validating migration file .. .. validation failed : Could not work out default domain"

Ubuntu Linux 24.04.1
Version 7.20.2, master admin mode

Trying to import a domain from a plesk installation ( Plesk Obsidian 18.0.65) I am getting this error. No problems with disk space that is the only observation I found on forums. Any hints?

Hi,

Thanks for your response. That is the only docs I found about this error and it is not my case. The domain to be restored is not the same as the hostname anymore (it was previously but modified that).

Are you saying you’re restoring for instance an account for “domainA.com” as “domainB.com”?

No, I mean I have a backup of a Plesk server whose only domian is for example “sub,domain,com”. I am trying to recover that very same “sub,domain,com” and the host machine is called “vm01,domain,com”. On the link you suggested I saw there was a possibility (screen capture) to manually select the domain to import but that option is no longer available.

I see what you mean, are you running Virtualmin GPL or Pro?

@Ilia any idea why on the “Migrate Virtual Server” page there is no field “Domain name to migrate” as shown from an earlier screenshot at:
