Country based IP Filtering traffic with xtable and xt_geoip

Hello,

I’m using Debian12.9 and Virtualmin to host websites.
I have a customer that need country based IP filtering for his 443 traffic.

I tried the CSF solution, it works but it has a few issues; logs were empty even after setting syslog, unclear high consumption and no real answers in CSF forums.

I’m testing now with xtable and xt_geoip which look great.

While I’m working on an auto-update solution for the geoip database using Maxmind.

I wonder if people here have some comments about this solution.
