Can't update the latest updates PLEASE HELP

I did a cmd for dnf clean all and this is what it says:

sudo dnf clean all
sudo: Account or password is expired, reset your password and try again
Changing password for root.
(current) UNIX password:

I put in my current root password for webmin but it keeps repeating the same I don’t have any other passwords, however I did change my root password and ticked change all a few months ago

What should I do?

Webmin has nothing to do with sudo, and the root password for Webmin is your system root password unless you’ve done something unusual. Webmin does not, in the usual case, have its own passwords for any user that has a system password (and, I discourage people from using the Webmin change-pass.pl command to make users have their own password…but it sounds like maybe that’s what you’ve done, I can’t guess, but if your Webmin root password is not the same as your system root password, then that has to be the case, and your system root password would be whatever it was before you changed it for Webmin, I guess).

Password expiration policy in PAM (and on the command line) also has nothing to do with Webmin.

Are you logged in as root? If so, you don’t need sudo for any command. sudo runs a command as root, but if you are already root, you are already running every command as root.

You may not have dnf installed or it isn’t in root’s path. I haven’t worked with a RH variant for quite awhile but searches don’t seem to show including the path with the command.

First try:

if nothing shows then:
yum install dnf
