Yum says "Skipping unreadable repository '/etc/yum.repos.d/virtualmin.repo'"

When I ran some yum commands on my server today, I got the message: “Skipping unreadable repository ‘/etc/yum.repos.d/virtualmin.repo’”.

I can ping software.virtualmin.com, so this does not seem to be a network problem.

How do I fix this?

I seem to have fixed this by clearing yum cache

I had to run sudo rm -rf /var/cache/yum because when I ran yum clean all I go the same unreadable repository message.
