WP Workbench - Does it install the wp binary

While messing with crons for WordPress I have had to use a copy of wp-cli.phar in the root of client accounts.

some systems have the binary wp installed.

Does WP Workbench install or manage this?

Feature request (maybe)

  • workbench can install the wp binary in to the OS and therefore the path
  • workbench can manage (install/update/remove) the wp binary
  • Control which client accounts can access the wp binary
  • Control the wp binary in relation to jails.

Yes, WP Workbench can install the latest version of wp-cli in the domain home under the ~/bin directory.
