WP Workbench availability for domain owners

I am the server owner. Can I use WP Workbench to manage all of my clients’ WordPress sites? If so, how do I access it? I have already installed the plugin. Pardon me if it’s something simple.

As explained in the WP Workbench documentation, access to WP Workbench for virtual server owners is only available if the master administrator has granted them permission to manage web apps.

The ability to clone a WordPress instance to a new sub-server is only available if the master administrator has granted the virtual server owner permission to create sub-servers and aliases. The ability to clone to top-level virtual servers is available to master administrators and resellers only.

The tab to clone a WordPress instance will not be available to the virtual server owner unless the master administrator has granted them database management permissions.

Or, do you mean to control all clients’ WordPress instances in one place?

We discussed this in the past, but I don’t think you implemented it yet. Ideally administrative users could see/manage all the WordPress instances across all domains in one dashboard. The CLI provides some of that capability for scripting stuff like seeing versions, updating, and backups, etc. for all WordPress instances, but most of our users are not comfortable with the CLI.

Yes, I agree! I will look into implementing it next week for WP Workbench version 1.1.0.
