Why is it EasyDMARC reporting my DMARC and Dkim records invalid

SYSTEM INFORMATION
OS type and version Debian 12
Virtualmin version 7.20.2

Hello,

I’ve been experiencing issues with spam and unwanted emails. Although I’ve correctly set up my DNS records, I’m still seeing “invalid records” when I check them using the EasyDMARC website.

but in dmarcian website everything looks okay. now i’m confused who is giving me the correct information.

I am using Cloudflare as my domain registrar.

Any help or guidance would be appreciated!

Thank you.

You know dmarc, spf and dkim only effect your outbound emails being recieved ok. It doesn’t stop inbound spam.

@stefan1959 oh i got you. thanks. it is always a good thing to set it up without any errors so my outbound emails will not effect too.

any advice?

Check this link for a full explanation of DMARC records:

https://www.cloudflare.com/learning/dns/dns-records/dns-dmarc-record/

For testing, you may want to use a record that looks like this:
v=DMARC1;p=reject;sp=reject;adkim=r;aspf=r;pct=100;fo=1;rf=iodef;ri=86400;ruf=mailto:dmarc@your-domain.com

Once you have confirmed everything is working, you will probably want to change the “relaxed” testing requirements to “strict”.
v=DMARC1;p=reject;sp=reject;adkim=s;aspf=s;pct=100;fo=1;rf=iodef;ri=86400;ruf=mailto:dmarc@your-domain.com

For your Dmarc? This is not bad to learn dmarc

I see a rua warning. Thats just a upsell to use there service.

You should check the reports sent to postmaster@ to check its all working ok.

Thank you. i will check this out.

Looks like everything is setup properly. like you said “rua warning” is to upsell their services…

Thank you
