What does "Change Password" (Administrator's Webmin Modules) do?

Just curious. I toggle “User and mailbox passwords”, “User password”, or “No” for:

“Change Password”

under:

Virtualmin > System Settings > Server Templates > [my template] > Administrator’s Webmin Modules

And then refresh the page as a logged-in Extra Admin, no difference jumps out at me.

The click-on-it help says:

This option specifies whether the domain owner can change passwords for their own account and their mailbox user accounts, only their own account, or none at all.

I seem to be able to change my password and the password of users fine with any button checked. I am logged in as an “Extra Admin” in this case, is it because I’m not a “domain owner” maybe?

Thanks. (I don’t need to change it, I just want to know what I’m missing.)

“Extra Admin” may not be subject to those limitations. It’d be bug-like if that’s so…

Does the regular domain owner user have those limits applied?
