Webmin w/Rsync as alternative

Hey Everyone,

I am wanting to migrate some of my hard drives over to one machine. I already have a huge amount of space in place. So I was thinking to Rsync from one Webmin NAS to the other.

Does anyone know of a good tutorial to teach me how to use rsync in webmin between 2 machines?

“In Webmin” probably doesn’t make sense here. There is no standard rsync module in Webmin, and the third-party modules for it are a couple decades old and unmaintained (and I don’t think they ever really solved a problem in a useful way). Just read up on rsync.

Webmin is just a configuration GUI. Sometimes it makes more sense to hit the command line.

And, I’m saying it has nothing to do with Webmin. Any rsync documentation or tutorial will apply.
