Is it safe to update Webmin even if Virtualmin does not have an update?
I test Virtualmin 6.0 installed with Webmin 1.981. I currently have a system offer to update Webmin to 1.983 version. Independent Webmin update is correct and safety?

If you are running Virtualmin, you should be updating Virtualmin and Webmin from the Virtualmin repo. Webmin goes through extra testing before it’s made available to the Virtualmin repo to ensure it’s compatible with Virtualmin amongst other things. Updating from the Webmin repo for instance can break things.
