As a new user the default is to limit upload ability. Though I thought you could do one. I’m not seeing anything. Open a few topics and read a few posts to elevate your board ranking to rectify this.
Or maybe a mod will take pity on you and elevate for you.
I totally suck at the new systemctl stuff, but was the output in the screenshots from this command?
systemctl status webmin.service
also system journal
sudo journalctl -xeu webmin.service
Not sure why but that screen shot is too small to get any useful info from. Unlike television, there IS a resolution limit.
It seems your OS is Manjaro. Please take a look to this information
https://www.virtualmin.com/documentation/os-support/
Manjaro is based on Arch which is not in the list.
Yeah. I think this is a problem for the package maintainers. I’m starting to think this is strictly Webmin and not in conjunction with Virtualmin?
There are a few articles on the Internet where some guys were able to install Webmin on Manjaro. I’m not an Arch fan, I prefer popular distributions, because the problems that arise are quickly solved.
Don’t put the screenshots within the versions table, and they’ll work. Edit: I fixed it for you.
many thx Joe!
it worked for me in the past. Now i just want to add more shared folder and i realised its no longer working
That’s for Virtualmin. Webmin supports many other OSes and distros.
But, I don’t believe anybody on the Webmin team has ever even seen Manjaro Linux. So, while Webmin supports a gazillion Linux distros and versions…Manjaro is almost certainly not one of the, at least out of the box. If you’ve had it working in the past, though, I would assume it could work again.
So, check the Webmin miniserv.error log, probably in /var/webmin
for clues about why it won’t start.
Belive it or not it’s in the AUR package. And official.
