Webmin re-starting failed error

I have been getting this issue when requesting a letsencrypt ssl

Requesting a certificate for ‘sub.domain.com’ from Let’s Encrypt …
… request was successful!
Configuring webserver to use new certificate and key …
… done

Applying web server configuration …
… done

Re-starting Webmin …
… failed! Webmin server did not write new PID file

Re-starting Usermin …
… done

And because of the restart failing the certificate does not seem to work. Can someone help?

Was it CentOS 8 server?

Anyway, Jamie recently added a patch to address this issue. It should be fixed in Webmin 1.956.
