i’m new in virtualmin …
i created new user “team@wowitty.com” , i can send and receive mails normaly …

Your mailbox has been updated successfully as follows :
Email address: team@wowitty.com
POP3 login: team@wowitty.com
SMTP server: mail.wowitty.com
POP3 server: mail.wowitty.com
FTP login: Disabled

now i try to setup it on outlook with the above data but this errror appear :

We couldn’t connect to the outgoing (SMTP) server.Please check the <0w> server settings and try again.

Try removing the mail. from the domain or change it to smtp. Outlook seems to process things in a different way to other clients.

i tried that but the error still appear , also i tried my samsung software (email app) , and this error appear :
unable to connect to email server to verify your account information. No response from server

What port are you using ( 587 ). Also try deleting the account and re-set it up again ( VM and Outlook ).

thank you using this port (587) solve the problem … put i don’t know the reasons !!

If it was port 25 your isp probably had a beef about it.
