Virus in Emails

Hi!
I use Virtualmin GPL with Ubuntu 10.04.

I’ve configured spam and virus scanning. If i send me the eicar testvirus the email is correctly recognized as a virusmail.

Is it possible to send an emailnotifaction to the emailrecipient that a mail with a virus was found and that the mail was moved to the .mail-dir.

Howdy,

No, there’s unfortunately no way to do that.

We actually recommend just deleting it (which is the default), as it’s really unlikely that ClamAV would have a false positive.
