  • Fix placeholder when toggled for create initial web page option
  • Fix to make sure the PHP log file exists for logrotate not fail #596
  • Fix to make sure that parallel backups don’t fail
  • Fix to preserve PHP log when changing PHP version

  • Fix to drop creating host default domain in Virtualmin wizard and instead use a new setting in Virtualmin Configuration page, under SSL Settings

Note we have also switched to semantic versioning (version is in the form major.minor.patch), if you have scripts or whatever that expects the old version string, you may need to update them. Comparing versions of semantic versions has good support in most popular languages, though, so it shouldn’t be too challenging to update your scripts. This brings Virtualmin versions in-line with common best practice for versions, and we’ve been using semantic versions for many of our other packages for some time.

As always, if you run into any problems start a new topic and provide a description of the problem and any errors you get.

Cheers,
Joe

Good morning to all !!
In order to clarify the purpose of this update, is it generic?
Does this information refer to all distros?

My answer to this question is already answered after the arrival of the information to update Virtualmin.
Prior to this update I had only installed version 7.7 PRO and there was no update available.

AFAICT, there is one more enhancement in this version:
Solved: “Mismatch of CLI vs Web version of PHP because CLI version is server-wide”

Ref: https://github.com/virtualmin/virtualmin-gpl/issues/520

Hi @Joe

I updated to the new versions 8 hours ago, Cleared the cache, restarted Webmin service, and even Rebooted the system but still can’t transform from RSA to Elliptic Curve certificate, and the default still not working.

Issue still with no fixes: Unable to Switch SSL Certificate into Elliptic Curve

Could it be a cache issue?

Thanks

You’d need a new Webmin 2.103 for that feature to work, which hasn’t been released yet. We’re wrapping things up with @Jamie and hopefully make a new Webmin 2.103 and Usermin 2.003 soon.

Have there been logins since you upgraded Virtualmin? It won’t process old logs …

Yes, every 10 mins … Nothing is showing as per screen shot

If you SSH in as root and run journalctl -u 'postfix*' -u 'dovecot*' , what output do you get?

Hi Jamie

I get thousands of lines … what exactly are you looking for ?
