To set spanish like default language you must click in the “webmin” link just a side of the “Virtualmin” title (top on the left pannel) see something like this:
^ Virtualmin # Webmin <<— must click here
Then you get into the left panel a list of options, click on “webmin”, several links will appear.
Click on “Change Language and Theme”
On the right panel locate the “Webmin UI language” option and cick on the “Personal Choice” radio button and from the option list select “Spanish (ES)” and click on the “Make Changes” Button
On the left panel click on “Usermin Configuration” and click on the flags icon (Languages icon) and locate the “Mostrar en Idioma” option and select “Spanish (ES)” then click on “Cambiar Idioma” Button.
Again on the left panel make click on “Webmin Configuration” again click on the flags icon (Language icon), select “Spanish (ES)” and make click on the “Cambiar Idioma” Button.
Now every time Virtualmin (partial) will show in spanish language, the translation its not finished yet so some text could be in English.
Hello
I’m working with virtualmin in a project wtih students and professionals in secundary and vocational schools in Spain. I’m traying to document part of it (virtualmin) into Spanish to help administrators from schools. I wonder if I can help o collaborate in virtualmin translations? how can I start?.
The easiest way to add a translation is to use the wbmtranslator module linked from that page, which can both create a local translation and email it to us for inclusion in Virtualmin. Please let us know on this thread if you send one in, so we can confirm that it looks OK. Even a partial translation can be sent, as strings that are not translated will fall back to being displayed in English.
Thanks for doing this - I’m sure that many people would appreciate a Spanish translation of Virtualmin!

I’d like to comment that I’ve been working on translations with the “Translation Assistant” Module. And I can see the progress, at least in my server where I’ve got my webmin/virtualmin … ¡Well done!, but… I wondering about the message at the top of the page:
"Please, install the following perl modules from the Webmin CPAN module or download them directly from the CPAN Web site and install them manually (read wbmtranslator README file for this) in order to use this application:
Date::Manip Mail::Sender
MIME::Lite"
"
I didn’t care much or enough for long time, because apparently the translations, as I said before, were there, but … my question is … What is actually the consequences of not having done the installation of this perl modules?
Sorry about that! I don’t know if this is the site to ask for it.
