This is a Virtualmin/Webmin GUI issue and NOT a CLI issue.

System > Software Package Updates > Package Repositories

Could be syntax error in the virtualmin.list for Ubuntu 22.04 that’s keeping Webmin from reading the file.

Or it needs to go into the /etc/apt/sources.list and not /etc/apt/sources.list.d/virtualmin.list because of the keyring?

Although it is odd that Webmin can read from /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ no problem because it picks up other source list in that directory.

I don’t really know if it is related but I have tried to install ubuntu 24.04 today with virtualmin and I get this message :

“Err:1 https://software.virtualmin.com/vm/7/gpl/apt virtualmin InRelease

It is not related.

I think it’s a keyring issue now that Ubuntu 24.04 has keyrings in their source list under:

/etc/apt/sources.list.d/

They don’t show up as well.

My post has nothing to do with the certificate verification.
