Virtualmin Registrar API Support

Hi, I understand Virtualmin has “Registrar API Support” from reading Domain Registration | Virtualmin — Open Source Web Hosting Control Panel which says, apt-get install webmin-virtualmin-registrar, and “The plugin is compatible with Namecheap, Register.com, and Gandi APIs.”

Can you elaborate a bit on this?
Does it support the Namecheap DNS?
Will it automagically push DNS changes to Namecheap as I make changes in Virtualmin?

Oh, I see Namecheap “isn’t so cheap”… I’m paying less with eNom.
And recently ROUTE-53 was mentioned, but I see there are additional charges.
I guess just hosting all the DNS myself is the cheapest option.

It is a separate feature from the Virtualmin Registrar plugin. The Namecheap DNS management available to Virtualmin Pro users though.
