Virtualmin Professional Pricing Question

I have a question regarding virtualmin professional and its pricing.

So i have couple of VPS instances (7-8) and they all have virtualmin in them.

Each instance has got 2-3 sites or so. but can go up and down.

How is the pricing calculated. Is it per instance (per VPS) or per site (Total sites in all instances together) or may be completely different.

I think this has been answered before, its per virtualmin server. So yes per instance/vps.

It is always per system (whether that system is a virtual machine or “VPS” or bare metal is irrelevant), and sized based on number of domains being hosted.

Thanks Joe, Still slightly confused.

When i buy pro license, it says select domain (10-50-100-250-Unlimited)

So if i buy 10 domain license, means I can host upto 10 different website/domains, irrelevant if all of them are on one instance or spread across 5 instances ?

1 license = 1 seat = 1 server

  • So if you buy a Virtualmin Pro license with 10 domains it means you can run Virtualmin on 1 server with up to 10 domains.
  • You cannot spread the domains over multiple servers.
  • It is one license with X number of domains on a single server.
  • If you have 2 servers you need 2 licenses and you should pick the number of domains you require for each of the servers separately.
