Planning to deploy a new VPS and have always used the LAMP stack & mini installation flags. EDIT: I plan to try the LEMP stack too, my bad.

I know there is a specific (to me) one-line script within the account area, but the script is a little different to the GPL version. I know it can all be done manually if needed, but my question is, can I pass the mini flag in the script you provide, and where would it need to be placed? :speech_balloon:

you cannot use both LAMP and LEMP stacks on the same VM

not sure if the--minimal flag works, but doubt it.

Hi, thanks for the reply :+1:

I understand that I can’t install both stacks.

I am going with LEMP and in the GPL version I would use the –-mini –-LEMP flags but as the professional installer is different I just need clarification those flags would work & where in the one line installer they would need to be.

I am not sure when it happened but the –-minimal flag seems to have been replaced by the –-mini

cannot help much further both PRO VMs i have run were upgraded direct from GPL

An install command builder would be useful on the virtualmin website

Thats probably the best idea here, thanks I will mark this a solution :+1:

Just to clarify, the GPL and Pro installers use the same flags in the virtualmin-install.sh script.
