Virtualmin Pro for Non-Profit Organization

SYSTEM INFORMATION
OS type and version Ubuntu Linux 24.04.4
Webmin version 2.621
Virtualmin version 8.1.0 GPL
Webserver version Apache 2.4.58

I have used Webmin and Virtualmin GPL for many years, but I am considering upgrading to Pro for the additional features. I run this server for our non-profit 501(c)(3) and was wondering if you offer any discounts for non-profit organizations? I know $7.50 isn’t much, but we are already paying $60 a month for the virtual server.

Thank you.

i assume this is a charity organisation as i do not know what 501(c)(3) means.

in the UK it would be an allowable expense and so would not be seen as a “profit” and therefore not taxed. (of course this only applies if you are a business for tax purposes)

if you are a charity/business then then the amount is pretty trivial in the overall scheme of things.

also, if you buy 12 months, the monthly works out at $6.25.

If you are paying $60 a month for the server then I think it is fair to pay $6.25 a month for Virtualmin if you need Pro. The team here are very responsive to issues raised.

Could I test this Pro version for 3 days straight? I bet I’ll keep the team up for the next 3 months, if they even care.

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you’d like a refund for any reason, just let us know.

What are you trying to imply about the Virtualmin team with this statement?

he might of meant his team.

Oh, can’t blame them for not caring.

It would be an interesting situation in the workplace if conspiracy theories are floated, accusations made and victim card played as quickly as they have been in our forum.

We can use this as an expense, but we have just started our organization and are paying for everything out of our own pocket. On top of that, we have a 10yo with a rare genetic disorder and are having to fight with insurance to pay for his medically necessary therapy. So needless to say, money is very tight. Our organization, once we start getting donations, will help other families in our situation who are not able to afford necessary therapy and medical treatments.

What are the features of PRO you think you need?
