where is the default virtualmin login page located?
am i allowed to edit the page? for example put a link in the page

Well, you can change the login page (which is part of the Virtualmin Framed Template). The problem there is that it would get overwritten each time you updated Virtualmin.
A simpler alternative would be to take a look at System Settings -> Module Config -> User Interface Settings.
On there, you can set “URL for company logo image” and “Link destination for company logo”.
