Then also why centos 7 almost EOL… and very old apllication versions in it! ?

Didn’t get your point. Please brief a little

Don’t clean install CentOS 7 in 2022! Alma or Rocky Linux 8 should be preferred.

You can also use beta version of Virtualmin 7 installer to get the latest version installed on Alma or Rocky Linux 8.

Hey llia
The problem is it isn’t even supporting virtualmin 6.2. Getting failed every time i tried to install it.

Alma and Rocky 8 only supported by Virtualmin 7 beta installer.

Again returned the same error… can you help?

You’re using CentOS 7? Don’t! Use Alma or Rocky 8!

Yes i m using centos 7 and have tried almost all versions available. Neither seems working at the moment returning same error

I am having similar problems with RHEL-8.5 with VM 6.2.2, yet I had a successful installation on 28/03/22 - just 4 days ago. This is with a new clean minimal installation of RHEL. Nothing else added.

We need to ask @Joe about what is happening!

@Randomz Does it work with beta installer? It did for me. Please try that and let us know.

It got installed after making some changes for a moment, but then all of a sudden server went down and as of now it is returning 523 error and server seems unreachable … @llia everything was working fine till last night. It isn’t working form the morning. Is there any update done today? I am following this article to install Virtualmin. How to Install Virtualmin on CentOS 7 / RHEL 7 / Oracle Linux 7

This is unrelated.

How to Install Virtualmin on CentOS 7 / RHEL 7 / Oracle Linux 7 Following this article to install Virtual Min as of now

Illia, the beta does work. Interestingly, the install.sh both have the same date and file size, and the only updates to RHEL appear to be zlib and zlib-devel. Could that be the cause of failure with 6.2.2 ?

Hey @randomz could you please tell me when you tried installing install.sh exactly. Because the same was working for me till last night. It stopped working in the morning for me.

The successful install was on 28/04/22 finished at 15:41pm ACST (Australia Central Standard Time +9:30).

The failed ones I started today (02-05-22) probaby late afternoon, maybe 8 hours ago?

Same with me @randomz. Thanks for confirming. Can you please tell me how you managed installing it as of now? I am failing badly

I used the beta installer that Illia mentioned above.

Did you uninstalled the previous version or overwrite the previous version. Could you please tell. I will be very thankful.
