Virtualmin-config 6.0.31 never installs on existing system

ubuntu:
14.04.5 trusty:
virtualmin wants to install ‘virtualmin-config 6.0.31’, but it never installs for more then a month now
result is:
The following extra packages will be installed:
virtualmin-config
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
… install complete.
Tried to install via synaptic but I can’t mark it for upgrade
current version is virtualmin-config 6.0.24
log file on reveal:
AH01906: RSA server certificate is a CA certificate (BasicConstraints: CA == TRUE !?)
how do I clear this or fix it?

You’re running an EOL distro. You obviously don’t care about running up to date software, so just leave it alone.

Anyway, you don’t need it. virtualmin-config is only used during installation (or when explicitly called with virtualmin config-system command). You can’t possibly be making sweeping system changes on a system that old, so you don’t need it.
