Hi Team. I have 5 of our pro virtualmin servers that have had all domains convert to numbers. I need to understand 1. how to patch all servers to prevent against this and 2. a process to rectify. From reading forum notes - this seems to be bug that has been floating around for a long time and there doesn’t seem to be a clear fix. Would appreciate urgent advice.

Do you have Virtualmin backups? Or do you have at least backups for /etc/webmin/virtual-server/domains directory?

Thanks Ilia. Yes. I can see that the files on the server in that folder are zero bytes. The files in the backups have content. Do I just restore those files and restart webmin? Are they the only files I need to worry about?

Yes, correct, as restoring those files will bring back displaying correctly domains and associated features.
