Users and ftp logging

Hello.

I’ve created a new user under my domain -> Edit Users.

He can only upload files in a specific directory that I’ve created previously.

Now: He can’t login on ftp, and currently I don’t know how to check the logs (I’m using proftpd), and the error of filezilla is: Connection timeout after 20 seconds of inactivity.

Where I’m wrong?

There should be more than just that response from FileZilla.
Is the server even up currently? You can see that in the virtualmin interface.
