Usermin "move" function directing emails inaccurately

A client just complained that using UserMin, he was trying to move emails to a specific folder, but the mails were being moved to a different folder.
I was able to recreate the error, and it seemed that the email was being moved to the folder immediately after the one that was targeted.
I was able to successfully move folders accurately in Thunderbird client on a local PC, but the problem persisted in Usermin.
I am unable to recreate the error in other virtual servers, but can recreate the behaviour in the same domain as the original user.
I have deleted the user after saving the emails on Thunderbird, recreated the mailbox, and replaced the emails. The problem still persists.
I have looked online to try to find a similar issue, but haven’t been able to find anything. Consequently I fear that this is not a common problem.
Anyone have any ideas on how I could overcome the problem?

What are the folders? User created or the system defaults? I’m assuming that Thunderbird recreated the folders from scratch when you restored?

Does it happen if you switch to the old Framed Theme instead of Authentic in Usermin? That sounds kinda like some sort of UI off-by-one bug…It could be in the backend, as well, but worth a try. That would tell us who would be the one to fix it, Ilia or Jamie.
