you perhaps need to add some terms and conditions on the use of your alien/robot mascot.
I mentions things elsewhere but I did not want to go off-topic. this is justa simple thoguth that you need to have some specic terms and conditions, maybe a page where you can download the logo assets.

I don’t know if I even have the original vector art for the alien/robot. It was from a commissioned set of ads for Virtualmin 5 (many years ago now). I assume/hope the artist used all original art, which we now own, and I’ve never seen that exact robot/alien drawing anywhere else, so it probably is original and it was work-for-hire, so assuming the artist adhered to the terms and drew it from scratch for our project, we own it and can do whatever with it. The artist was someone I worked with several times, and they seemed trustworthy, but they’re no longer on fiverr, so I dunno.
I don’t know how much we’d want to lean in on a mascot, though I have been pretty insistent that I like him being around on our website ever since they first appeared.

Not really! I’ve never seen good results from any attempt I’ve made (and I’ve tried it quite a bit).
But, we probably have the vector somewhere. I just don’t know what else we want to do with it.
