Upload huge files!

how can i upload huge files?
i need to restore a vs file (11Gb)
i cannot use FTP ( timeout and cancel after 1gB)
i cannot use restore option (infinite delay)
i cannot use upload and donload option ( aparently file upload complete, but file no appears in the right directory
we try several times
any ideas?

Why not just use Upload and Download module or File Manager?
