Would like to upgrade Ubuntu 18.04.6 to the current 24.04 how is this done

using multiple
do-release-upgrade
commands as root or just back up virtualmin & webmin and deploy the OS of your choice, if this is a remote server your supplier may have a 24.04 distribution in their list of OS deployments just install that, install virtualmin and restore your backups
Warning the former may fail as there maybe a big change between 18.04 & 20.04 (I can not remember) so the latter is the better course of action
