Just added a new domain to existing VS - then realised I had made a mistake - rather than deleting the VS and starting over again I thought I would just repair the mistake:

The mistake was not unticking the “DNS domain enabled” so went into Edit VS -> Enabled Features and unticked the box. I then get this message:

Having gone through this many times in the past with no errors it came as a shock. Now I will simply delete the new VS and start over again after some caffeine to wake up my addled brain. But thought I’d post it just in case it is something more serious.

Bind8 is that correct? Thought it would be bind9

Oh - even worse Now I cannot even delete it!

No idea I’m blind when it comes to Bind (No idea and don’t understand it)
I don’t even know why it is there. No other VS on this box uses the DNS enabled option. Why is it even listed as running?

The next bit of better news is that despite the above errors the VS actually did delete (or at least I haven’t found any remnants of it.

I have re-created the new VS and everything looks OK. It was a subserver (not that is very relevant) All the other VS appear to have NOT been affected - thankfully. So a big sigh of relief.

So that seems to promote that error to a :bug:
