Unable to log into Usermin with newly created user

I’m having problems logging into Usermin from a newly created user. (To be honest, this is the first time I’ve ever tried to log into Usermin.) The specifics are as follows:

The Webmin/VirtualMin server is located at hxxps://gateway.hostA.com:10000 with Usermin hosted on port 20000. The user is user@hostB[.]com and I created them in VirtualMin > Edit Users > Add User and then selected Email, FTP, and SSH.

Attempts to login are met with the message: Logon failed. Please try again.

I’m sure there is something simple I’m missing, I just can’t seem to determine what it is.

Check firewall for port 20000.

Firewall is disabled. I’m getting that failed message at hxxps://gateway.hostA.com:20000. The Usermin login screen comes up just fine.

And yup! It was something simple. I was missing a portion of the username. Some days I wish I had stayed in bed. :slight_smile:
