Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS and AWS EC2

I spun up an AWS EC2 instance and ran the install with

sudo /bin/sh install.sh -b LEMP

When it completed the ip address it gave me didn’t match my EC2 instance, so I had to change that in my address bar when navigating to the log in screen for thte first time.

When I got to the login screen I couldn’t log in, because I don’t know what the username and password is…

I read that it should be my root password for my server but I use a certificate and no password… Not sure how to get in.

Set a password on the command line, using the passwd command. Then use that password.
