I’m testing the XEN hypervisor and I installed a Ubuntu 16.04 LTS server with XEN. I managed to create virtual machines with the XL toolstack. Since I’ve experience with Webmin and Virtualmin I tried the Cloudmin software to see if it is useful for XEN management.
The idea is to build my operational servers (freepbx, pfsense and LAMP with SuiteCRM, OTRS, …) on the test platform and after that move those XEN vm to a final hardware configuration.
Can the Cloudmin support the Ubuntu 16.04 TLS and the XL toolstack?
I’m trying to add one of my VM but I’m getting - Failed to add system : The specified file does not appear to be a Xen configuration file.
And when I try to create a new XEN I get - Creating virtual system with Xen …
… creation failed : The Xen HVM command qemu-dm was not found on …
Shall I use other toolstack or CentOS - or the best solution is XenServer and XenCenter?
Thanks in advance for any help.
