Transfer website from one server to another fails

The problem appears to be on the server I’m transferring from as I am able to transfer from a different server. I checked on the destination and the backup files are in /:/tmp/ there is a tmp directory at /tmp/ with no backup files.

The initial destination test appears to pass

Any ideas what could be causing this and/or how to resolve it?

Are you using Transfer Virtual Server?
Its a weird error as why would destination contain backups. Has the domain been created on the destination?

Yes, Transfer Virtual Server. The destination receives the backup files from the server I’m transferring from. They are being uploaded - to /:/tmp/ but it seems like the transfer is expecting the files to be at /tmp/, which they’re not.
