/tmp partition to small for sitebackups

I’ve got a server configured with Virtualmin but the /tmp partition is fixed on 1 GiB. Needless to say it’s impossible to change this on a productionserver.
However, I need to backup a site which is 2,5 GiB, so it will fail.

Is there a way to let virtualmin use another dir instead of /tmp for it’s temporary TAR file?

Yeah, if you go into Webmin -> Webmin -> Webmin Configuration -> Advanced, there’s an option at the top for what to use for temporary files.

You can just set that to something outside of /tmp.
