Testing external connectivity

SYSTEM INFORMATION
OS type and version Ubuntu 20.04.4
Virtualmin version 7.9.0 Pro

When testing the external connectivity, I get a n HTTP/1.1 504 Gateway Timeout.
My installation sits on a private server connected to a fibre modem on a dedicated IP4 address.
The following ports are open on the modem and redirected to my server:
21, 25, 80, 110, 143, 220, 443, 465, 587, 993 + 10000 and 20000
Do I need to open 8080 as well for the test to succeed?
Thanks a lot for any help - I am getting stuck here

Have to create port forwarding on a DMZ to the server to pass traffic to it? This is the complications of running a server from how plus dealing with your ISP putting blocks due to spamming.
You modem manual might have something on it like this modem

Hello,

I can easily access the sites I stage on the server. I can also access Virtualmin via the Internet. I can send mail but not receive any (still trying to find out why). I do test the external connectivity as I fail to get a LetsEncrypt certificat.
Checking your documentation, this is actually what I did - rerouting external ports to internal destinations. I looks to me, that there is no need for a DMZ at this moment but I might be wrong.
Thanks for your help.

I’d say your provider is blocking port 25 (pretty normal), check using this site.

Spot on - thanks a lot
