as many will know I run several VM with GPL on various OS from various suppliers around the world.just love Virtualmin

one of my problems is keeping up :old_man:

I have just noticed something rather odd with the Dashboard of two VM. (both OS = Ubuntu)

and

what has happened to the Virtual Memory

virtual memory is Swap space. you probably didn’t create a swap partition during OS installation. (you can add a swap file in installed system, if needed).

nothing to do with virtualmin.

created as standard on all VM
cannot think of anyway it would have been removed upstream. was looking for some way to check, or if there had been some other interference/hacking

I’d say it’s a coin toss these days, if the provider images have swap enabled or not.

seems to indicate it is there at least to me
and owned correctly :cat_with_wry_smile:

don’t know why - just taken the VM through a boot cycle (nothing to update) but just thought it would clear the air :+1:
and it did just that - now back to showing 4 dials

I had a teacher that owned a calculator with a print out. In his wallet he carried a printout that obviously had the math wrong. In his case it was to prove to his math students that estimating your expected answer isn’t a waste of time. But here? Computers glitch.
