Help updated my webmin and now my spamassassin will not start.

… failed to start : Starting spamassassin (via systemctl): Failed to issue method call: Unit spamassassin.service failed to load: Invalid argument. See system logs and ‘systemctl status spamassassin.service’ for details. [FAILED]

systemctl status spamassassin.service
spamassassin.service - Start SpamAssassin filter server
Loaded: error (/lib/systemd/system/spamassassin.service)
Active: inactive (dead)
CGroup: name=systemd:/system/spamassassin.service

For a moment I had a webmin core error

Howdy,

SpamAssassin doesn’t use Webmin when it runs, so updating Webmin wouldn’t have affected it… but it’s possible some other change is causing what you’re seeing.

Are you using a VPS, or is this a dedicated server? If it’s a VPS, what kind of VPS is it?

Also, what does this command show:

rpm -qa | grep spamassassin

I am using fedora 15. What I have learned is that I had to start spamd by going to shell screen and manually starting it. Now I have this error

spamd connection to 127.0.0.1 Failed

Which a long time I ago I had it and was able to resolve it but no suck luck now.

Any ideas?

spamassassin still will not start so am thinking that may be part.

So I managed to get the spamd error removed and get it going, Virtualmin says spamassassin is enabled

But

it isn’t working.
I am still getting this error
