[Solved] Login to RPC server as root rejected ???

Hi

I got a problem trying to link 2 Webmin servers (under Webmin servers index) running the same version.

I’m getting this error: Login to RPC server as root rejected. I’m using the correct username and password - works fine if I’m connecting manually.

CP1 -> trying to connect to NS1:
Login to RPC server as root rejected

But if I reverse

NS1 -> trying to connect to CP1 then no problem.

I have no firewall on NS1 currently, so that’s not the problem.
You guys have any idea about what could be the problem?

EDIT: Turns out the problem was I had created a website for the nameserver on CP1. Didn’t expect that to be a problem as I also created an A record to ns1.domain.tld

I also tried from a local test machine -> NS1
Connecting just fine using the same credentials.

So the problem must be related to my CP1 machine
