One of my servers is not allowing the installation of updates unless the --nobest switch is passed to dnf directly on a terminal. This is due to one package, which has no update, having a dependency on the older version of another package that has an available update. Using --nobest skips that particular update.
Could there be a way to enable the --nobest switch before running the update with dnf? If this doesn’t exist then consider it a feature request and I would personally hope for an on-demand option, such as a switch on the Software Package Updates page.
