Software Package Updates not refreshing after updates processed

SYSTEM INFORMATION
OS type and version Centos 7.9.2009
Webmin version 2.111

After choosing, and installing, the selected updates from the Software Package Updates screen, Webmin displays the package install process, then returns only the top two header lines with the remainder of the screen blank regardless whether you wait 30 seconds or 5 minutes for the screen to refresh.
If you press Software Package Updates in the left pane between approximately 30-60 seconds it re-displays the updates that were just processed. If you repeat the install process again, they are already done. No apparent errors in the log files.

Refresh packages, see if that clears it.

Refresh done. Successfully showed screen with 4 packages to update. Selected 3 packages to update. displayed progress log but never displayed “return” button. It just returned to Software Package Updates screen but only showed top 2 headers.
Alas the issue continues.

try in terminal dnf clean all and then dnf update

whats it output?

Don’t have dnf installed. The server is due to be decommissioned before the end of 2024 so I don’t want to make un-necessary changes.
Did a yum clean but no change.
Currently running a yum --verbose check but I understand it can take a very long time. Will let you know the outcome.
As it’s a live system I’m not willing to risk a full yum update at this time.
Have looked at all webmin & miniserv log files but nothing obvious.
Any other ideas please?

Try force refreshing the system information page on the dashboard in the top right!

Webmin as far as I know does that anyway in the GUI that how you see there is updates to be done.

Nothing happens untill you type y, your not forcing a y (yes)
