Socket Error #10061 connection refused (domain.tld)

I got this error while sending mails “Socket Error #10061 connection refused (domain.tld)”
What can I do please?

10061 is a connection refused error. You can’t establish a connection because the target machine actively refuses it. Common causes are a misconfigured/full server or an incorrect port specified by the client.

how do i fix it?

Don’t know you have not supplied any server os and info on what software you are using to send and receive mail

Is this really all the information you’re going to give us?

You need to tell us what you tried, what happened, and what you expected, and you need to provide the relevant log entries from the relevant services. (Since you haven’t mentioned anything about how you’re sending mails or to where, I have no idea how to guide you on what logs to look for relevant entries in.)

do you have access to mail.domain.tld ? this is the receiving server, and this is where the error lies. If you have access to that server view the mail server logs, also check the firewall has the required ports open and that there is something listening on the required port(s)

This appears to be some form of windows based mail list software you may need to refer to the documentation for Gammadyne Mailer, as to the correct setup

I think this error is from virtualmin/webmin configuration.
I have used other email server yet no way
When i try using roundcube, it says
SMTP error connection to server failed

So check the logs on the virtualmin server then also check if your vps supplier or if virtualmin is behind a domestic router check the relevant firewall to make sure the required ports are open

Should be done already but I’m asking pre-emptively: Is port 25 accessible on the refusing host?
