Good morning everyone,
yesterday I was installing the smashing dashboard and while that, updating my server.
While that I realized, there is a smashing dashboard gem already in webmin.
But I couldn’t find out, how to activate that and use it.
Actually it is activated, but what other configurations do I have to change, to get it running? Is there a direction you can point me so that I can figure that out?

I don’t know what you’re talking about.
Webmin isn’t written in Ruby, so there are no gems in Webmin.
You’re going to need to provide more details about what you’re trying to do and what you already tried. Maybe with links to the software you’re talking about. (But, also beware we’re not really Ruby devs, so we aren’t experts on Ruby problems.)

Probably I asked to early since the problem is solved.
Yesterday when I was trying to get Smashing Dashboard to run, I had issues, to get fresh updates for my Ubuntu Server.
As I realized, the mirror list I was using, had wrong entries and so, it actually could not update (also Webmin had problems).
This morning with a fresh head I changed the mirror list, made a comprehensive update and suddenly, the “gem” was not visible in webmin anymore.
So I understood, that it probably was just a splinter entry of my previous tries, to get it to run and it showed unter webmin as a Ruby add-on. Yesterday I thought, it was kinda like a feature in webmin that I can just install from there ^^
But I was now sucessfull, getting Smashing Dashboard to run and webmin, as always, was super helpful, creating sudomain etc.
So - topic solved and thank you for answering!
